History & Italian Heritage
IL PUNTO Flushing brings the same standards, hospitality, and Italian heritage that have defined IL PUNTO Ristorante since 2004, when owner Antonino Pecora, an experienced restaurateur from Italy, opened the original Hell’s Kitchen location. IL PUNTO, meaning “the point”, was created as a true “destination point”, a place where New Yorkers and travelers could experience the flavors of Italy through genuine hospitality and traditional cuisine.
That legacy is exactly what we’re bringing to Queens, a new location built on decades of real execution, with an Italian management team and a kitchen focused on true Italian cuisine, made with love. From house made fresh pastas and baked breads prepared daily to classic Italian pizza from our oven, along with traditional recipes and carefully selected ingredients, IL PUNTO Flushing is designed to feel like a home away from home for lovers of Italian food, now in the heart of Flushing.

Our kitchen prepares house-made fresh pastas and baked breads every day, with sauces slow-cooked for depth and balance. From rich classics like pappardelle alla Bolognese to tagliolini neri made with squid ink, the menu is rooted in the regions of Italy and finished with the kind of attention that guests notice in every bite.
And now, IL PUNTO Flushing adds another signature: classic Italian pizza from our oven, made thin and crisp with a thin crust, the way it’s meant to be, light, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. Finish with dessert, because our dolci are the real deal, especially the pistacchio tiramisù, a favorite that’s often called a must-try.
